Toyo Ito designed the Ampliación de la Fira de Barcelona on montjuïc hill in Bercelona, on Plaza Europa. The masterplan includes 9 pavilions and two hotel and office buildings. The project emphasizes sustainability, with water recycling and passive solar devices. The forms are themselves organic, inspired by Guadi.
